Astra’s systems constitute
an integrated, multi-tiered security mechanism to ensure the
strictest compliance with all US federal and state regulatory
requirements. Security is comprised of the following elements:
Artiva Agency debt recovery system - Designed to stay in full
compliance with all data security provisions of FDCPA, FCRA,
FACT, GLBA and HIPAA.
International Private Leased Circuits – Secure, isolated,
high-speed fiber-optics circuits linking India and the US,
of which Astra is leaseholder and sole user.
Local Area Network and Virtual LAN – There is no point
at which an outside entity can gain access to Artiva Agency
using a computer without proper authorization.
Communications – Astra’s infrastructure is protected
by extensive firewalls.
Data access, handling, and storage – Isolation of data
imports, encryption of data transfers, access restriction and
authentication, and event logging protect data.
Physical site security – Secure access to Astra’s
Operations Center is strictly enforced by human and electronic
controls.
Personnel security – Each employee is uniquely identified through entry
badge, system password and user name. Carrying personal materials
into the Operations Center and carrying anything out is prohibited.
Workstations have no removable media or access to e-mail or
Internet.
